Filming Plan


Start on a wide shot of the house

Camera walks towards the front door (like a zoom)

Fades from front door to inside the house (editing)

Camera carries on walking through the hall and turns right into living room to see a girl (Jess) sitting on the sofa

Wide shot of the room, with girls back to camera (still sitting on sofa). Phone rings and girl picks it up and is talking on phone.

Cuts to a shot taken from outside the house, looking at girl through the window. Hear the girl talking through the glass – muffled

From window shot, see girl get up and starts walking

Cuts to inside the house, shot behind the girl

Camera follows the girl to the bottom of the stairs

Camera cuts (and is moved to the top of the stairs) to see girl coming up the stairs

When girl reaches top, camera pans left and follows girl into room (over the shoulder view)

Cuts to wide shot of girls head poking in the door of the room and see child in bed asleep

Suddenly cuts to shot of phone downstairs ringing.

Girls’ right hand comes into shot

As she brings it to her ear, camera pans up and right to a close up shot

Cuts to camera shot through the window, of the girl. She is talking and pacing up and down, heavy breathing is heard from phone

Cuts to close up of girl looking puzzled and scared

Full body shot of girl and sofa as she goes and sits down and reaches for remote

Cuts to shot of phone on table – ringing

Wide shot/full body shot of girl as she picks up the phone and answers

Camera watches girl look up to ceiling and pans up with her head movement as footsteps and creaking are heard from above
Camera follows the girl, as she gets up, to the bottom of the stairs



ENDING ONE

Camera cuts (and is moved to the top of the stairs) to see girl coming up the stairs

When girl reaches top of stairs

Camera comes in behind her to an over the shoulder shot and follows girl into room

Follows her to window and her looking out, camera can’t see what girl sees


ENDING ONE A

Cuts to extreme close up of girls face gasping


ENDING ONE B

Camera cuts to extreme close up of girls face, and zooms out as she whizzes round and falls down to a crouching position, holding her knees.



ENDING TWO

Cuts to a perspective shot of girl coming up the stairs and reaching the top

Scary looking boy walks from one room to another

Girl follows boy in, wide shot of an empty room.
